This simply sets the default state of the Sacred Hunt to off, so it becomes opt-in.
The hunt should still be available by talking to the NPC that normally allows you to disable/enable.
Ever thought "Hey, these ambushes keep interrupting my tea with friends"? And thought "Why isn't there a tickbox to just disable this, like for all the other things?". Well, I have a solution. Well, half a solution. This doesn't add a tick box, but sets the whole hunt event to an opt-in, instead of opt out.

All this mod does if over-wring the JhebbalSag row (which is currently the only row) of the DT_AmbushCategories table with the stock entries, except the "InitialState" value is false. If you are using a server mod, this is all you need for the same change of behaviour.
