Until it is done...

This is very poorly made and I’m struggling to come up with a better way to execute this script, basically YOU HAVE to trigger a common infected death animation and then when you hold down the trigger (Mag Dump) there is a 50% chance for a M60 style limb explosion on the the 13th shot. This only Works with AK47, M16, SG552 and the Combat Rifle (SCAR). It will not trigger the M60 style limb explosion during normal shooting, Only on the Random death animation.

if you are using ChimiChamo, RNG Common Infected Spawn Wounds it may look a bit weird my script resets those wounds the moment you shoot them with one of the rifles. So, an infected might start armless, but once you fire it’s back to normal before the gibs kicks in. This is the only issue i know of.

It really says something when you're incapable of searching up how to properly install vscripts.


You need this in order to use vscripts.

i see, probably hardcoded to not be possible because goring dead bodies was a sensitive topic back when the game was released.

@nomad Not possible, infected can only be gibbed twice so for example, you take one arm and one leg if you try gib the head its breaks the model in game. The game wasn't designed like that.

The same goes for bullet wounds alive infected and dead infected (ragdolls) are two different entities bullets decals cant be added to ragdolls, i have tried

but i do have a broken vscript i made where radolls spout blood when shot which is easier to do because you spawn blood effect in vscript.

I've been looking for a way to gib ragdolled zombies, I guess this is the closest thing yet? Is it even possible I wonder?
