The Last Woman in the World

The year is 2027. You are Lisa Finn, 16 years old, living in Munich, Germany. One morning, on January 1st, the shrill sound of your alarm clock rings out. Slowly, you open your eyes, ready for another school day, unaware that the world around you has just irrevocably changed. In the darkness of the night, all women have mysteriously disappeared. You are alone, and there is no indication that what lies ahead will forever influence your entire life.
As you get ready, you sense that something is wrong. Your parents are on vacation in the Caribbean, and you are home alone. You are brushing your teeth, unaware that you are the last woman in the world. You head to school and notice that something is off. Men are running around everywhere, seemingly searching for something and calling out women's names.
