Set the music volume to 0.

To adjust the volume of music from the mod, use other (system (your PC)) settings.

The mod completely redesigns the Kenshi music system, adding new atmospheric music.

Kenshi is quite famous for her music. Quite often, I (and many other people) have included music from this wonderful game (Fertile, Main Theme, etc.). However, this music is not found in the game. If you study the issue in more detail, you can find out that the Kenshi music system works completely differently than in other games. The music in the game is created from short fragments of playing musical instruments, and this music does not cause such enjoyment as it could be.

I fixed it with my mod. As before, the music here does not change depending on the player's actions (it changes only depending on the region in which the player is located). This shows all the indifference of the game world towards the player. However, instead of short fragments, you will find full-fledged music that you can enjoy.

I should immediately note that this is just an experiment. Kenshi modding does not provide for changes in sound files (therefore, Re_Kenshi is required), and creating this mod was very difficult. If you encounter bugs, please write in the comments. If you have any suggestions for adding new music, then leave a comment under the attached YouTube video.

Changing the length of music:

Dunes: 22 minutes → 40 minutes
Savannah: 30 minutes → 42 minutes
Swamplands: 24 minutes → 17 minutes
Tarsands: 26 minutes → 32 minutes
TOTAL: 1,7 hours → 2,18 hours

Add new music
Fix all possible bugs
Add the ability to adjust the volume of music from mod in game

I for one love what this mod offers, i simply couldn't go back to the vanilla tunes and its structure.
My only complaint would be that after being subscribed since it was published i would certainly appreciate some new additions to the roster.

i like this music a lot, I don't think it's bad at all I think you did a great job. But it being too in your face compared to og is a lil bit jarring I won't lie.

@Yuzuke there is no right and wrong understanding of music. Music preferences are primarily determined by genetics. If this music is "show-off" for you (which it is not for me, by the way), then you can simply play without music, or play with completely vanilla music (although even the original has quite "show-off" soundtracks like "Bog") Your comment lacks any constructive criticism.

I must say you have a very wrong understanding of background music. These clips are all annoying and distracting from the gameplay. Good BGM shouldn’t try to show off; it should complement the setting and enhance the gameplay experience.
