High Density Public Library

A cultural institution for a high density area, which collects and stores books, films, newspapers, documents and much more. Everything is now made accessible to all citizens around the city for borrowing. Larger radius, education bonus, and visitor capacity than standard Public Library.


I didn't like how low the capacity and range of the vanilla public library was, so I made a high-density version. Perfect both for covering a large area and for a downtown district. The street enter left side of the building is mostly dominated by bookshelves on all levels, with the occasional reading nook or reading desk. The street enter right side contains offices for librarians, computer labs, reading lounges, book sorting rooms, and meeting rooms. The central area is a giant indoor lobby that stretches all the way to the roof with bridge pathways connecting the two sides.
