yeah for some reason they made the "T-Pose" into actual poses, probably because the models appear on the selection screen on the arcade and they didn't want them just A-Posing.

i don't know why, the models came packaged like that in the original game
the same "idle pose" is in marphy black's ragdoll ports

I don't know if that's anywhere near your range of possibility but when I tried using this models in VR mode while using full-body tracking, the characters weren't in T-pose while calibrating. Insteadn, they were in this weird mid-jump position as if they were exercising. Not sure if you culd somehow fix that, but if you do that would be great!

Interesting, I always saw the Tier 3 Combine Rangers as part of a rouge metropolice faction, kind of like the ones who abandoned their posts to make a run for the trains in Episode One. The burning Combine clamp icon on the back of their heads really solidified the image I had of this imagined faction.

I think Tier 2 was mostly alternative costumes while Tier 3 intentionally pulled out wildest things they could imagine at the time. the female version of the Tier 3 Combine soldier easily stood out to me the most lmao...

honestly, i'm a really big fan of the tier 3 combine rangers - practical or not, i really really like the skull mask and hood and i like to pretend it's like a canon metrocop elite
plus some of the "finished" models like the female combine sniper being an interpretation of the assassin from the beta which is always nice
but some models are just inexcusably noncanon lol, like yeah i remember the giant fish head roaming around the battlefield, or the rebel with 40 confimed kills wearing a pair of bunny ears as he did it

I think the fact that they use original assets that have their own unique twists instead of completely custom ones like most Combine soldier reskins. That aspect really sets them apart, for better or worse.

I'm glad someone else appreciated the models from this game.

the resistance pack is taking a lot longer than expected because the snipers are having really weird texture issues, sorry everyone
