I don’t agree that the gameplay is “shit.” 🙂 In fact, everything is carefully balanced. The mod L’Havre is designed for players who already know Gothic 2 Night of the Raven very well and are looking for a deeper and more varied experience. Of course, this also means the difficulty is higher.
For long-time Gothic players, the original game has become too easy over time, so they want something more challenging. That’s exactly what L’Havre offers. Personally, at first I also felt it was hard, but now I see the difficulty as well-balanced, because it gives me a much more interesting experience than vanilla Gothic 2 Night of the Raven.
I try with plugins and without plugins :)
You can learn the Butchering skill (освежевание) from Bosper for 5 LP. Bosper is just one example—there are other teachers who can train you as well. In L’Hiver Edition, removing hides is tied to Leatherworking/Tanning and is a separate skill, while Butchering is the one that lets you harvest raw meat from animals. If it’s not working for you, I suspect you learned a different skill (e.g., Leatherworking) instead of Butchering. Once you learn Butchering, you shouldn’t have any issues getting raw meat.
