BastionLRM

the Bastion LRM is a prototype amphibious Missile truck. Designed to attack enemy ships and airships from the safety of land at an exceptional distance, what the Bastion lacks in surviavability armor more than makes up for it with it's 13 block Bastion IV missile.

It is a relatively cheap vehicle that excels in coastal defence against ships without adequate missile protection and can usually outrun those that do.

Common Operating Procedure entails 3 primary methods of combat:
1)Long-term coastal defense- Proper procedure reccomends preparing a flat surafce of land and driving the Bastion to it. There it is imperitive to build a base of operations, utilizing adequate cover, a resupply point as well as repairs. From here you now have a secure FOB to build upon if you wish

2)Short-term Offensive support/bombardment- Proper procedure reccomends utilizing an adequately sloped surface that allows for maximum concealment as well as proper firing angles. The Bastion LRM does not need direct LoS(Line of Sight) as the missiles feature advanced tracking avionics. This method is reccomended for ambushes and other limited-time engagements

3)Direct Sea-Borne Combat/Supporting fire- As the Bastion LRM is a fully amphibious vehicle, seaborne operations can be effective though not ideal due to basic AI routines and limited stability. Proper procedure reccomends staying out of the effective range of enemy fire for the entire duration of the engagement. Supporting Spearhead attacks is also an effective technique as long as the AI rourines are monitored and kept out of the front lines.

Major weakness include, but are not limited to: Fast moving aircraft. Due to limited manuverability and vertical traversal Bastion missiles are not reccomended to engage fast moving targets.
As the vehicle was not designed as a main combat unit, heavy armoring was dropped in favor of manuverability and ease of maintenance.
