描述
If you subscribe it should appear under your huge ship templates in the ship designer. Save design as a starbase then come out of the designer, click on new game and then on edit for your custom civ. In the fleets->starbases tab you can replace the default starbases with this one. This is a workaround as sometimes starbase hulls subbed from the workshop are invisible in the game.

I understand, I rather do this in PMs but their is no way to send a message in Steam unless you are both friends.

If you change your mind please let me know, right now I am up to 4 ship creators who have agreed as long as I show their names and use the Contributor ability on Steam (right hand side on the workshop item) so it clearly shows their work is in their.

My goal was to make it so people get the Civilization and not have to spend lots of time trying to find ships.

I'm glad if other people enjoy using my designs but I'd prefer it if custom civs and ship styles that include my work were kept private. Thanks for asking though which is the first time anyone has done so.

That did it, thank you. I believe I sent you a friend request as I wanted to ask if you would be ok to add your ships to the Civlizations I have created. Take a look at my workshop, all the civilizations have species, and portraits (90 for each species) etc.... So far I have snartec on board to use his ships but looking for others and in my private lists I am using your ships which I love. If you are ok with it I believe I need to have on my friend list so I can then tag you as an co-author (I think thas how steam works).

If you go into options -> gameplay and check 'show starbases' the option to save as startbase should become available

It does not let me pick a design of starbase. I click the Save button and have two options under Save Design AS: which are Ship Design (which does nothing really as I have no optons) and Ship Template

When the save prompt comes up cycle through the "save designs as" options until you get to starbase. It should be there

I tried to do what you suggested but I can not save it as a Starbase, I saw no option for it. I am wondering if they fixed it.
