Excavator SX300

Welcome

The SX300 is a state of the art small excavator capable of subgrid steering (SWCS) and full arm manipulation with normal key controls (PARK).

Driving is performed with the usual WASD keys, turret rotation is roll (Q, E for me), up and down raises the main boom and the mouse controls the foreboom (mid boom) and the drill head itself.

For anyone trying to use PARK, this is a great example of how it can be used along with the subgrid wheel control script to enable driving such a vehicle, please note, the handbrake needs a little adjusting and the excavator may roll if on a hill.

There is a gyro in override on the turret, this is to stabilise the whole vehicle because it can be top heavy and arm movement can cause some "bounce" on the suspension.

On board O2/H2 generation to power up to two hydrogen engines for extra long use, separate "Ice Box" storage for all ice requirements to fuel this system which will fill when digging ice. (overfilling storage may require manual offloading).

Three medium storage containers allows for a medium sized collection, specifically from roids or bolder deposits on the surface, rear base small connector for offload and reversing camera to aid docking as required.

Sorted Stone ejection system built in which can be added to if other materials need to be dumped out the two back small connectors (facing down).
