Seeing as the war with the Factorum continues and the fear of the conflict moving planetside the ESDF high command and material administration decided to overhaul its primary MBT and as such the MT-50 Stenbock MK.3 was given the go ahead, the primary requirements for the MK.3 was for it to be lighter for easier transport but also to increase the survivability for the driver and gunner other changes is the addition of a munitions launcher capable of launching flares or fireworks in order to distract or confuse enemies.
