your so right, i totally forgot ethanol since i never play all that much in forest biomes even in spaced out. this is trully wonderful, i no longer need to bridge for over 100 tiles just to collect 500kg of ice just to survive.

And we have iron volcano and other configs in mod settings.

Indeed, I've spent so much time in Spaced Out! that I never tried this in the base game. My first thought is related to Arbor Trees. Arbor tree can be used to generate ethanol and polluted dirt, which can be turned into oxygen and power production. That's why we chose the Forest starting biome for this mod. Later DLCs have introduced more diverse play styles, and I hope this explanation helps. I don't want to give too many directions or instructions because it's fun to find all kinds of possibilities during the process, isn't it?

i only have one question for this beautiful hard planet mod

how do you beat this mod without spaced out and no geysers?
since you can't survive forever without any form of water or oxygen

in spaced out, you have access to renewable ressource from the star map pretty early on in comparision to standard oni where space and ressource gattering from asteroids are late game content

@Doc Actually you can find wild Moos in outer asteroids. Once you land on one of the far asteroid, Moos showers will fall from the sky.

Hey love the mod,been having a lot of fun with it, only thing that i'd change so far is to move the gassy moo spawner to either of the outter planets so it gives me time to only spawn it when i'm ready to tame it so they can reproduce, otherwise they die too early on
