Sadly true. In both terms of mods and maps. Many, MANY, good mods or maps get lost in favor of literal copy and paste, the lowest amount of effort, or extremely gimmicky things. "Okay sure, this is a funny little addon ha-ha" then it gets a ridiculous amount of awards, likes, and subscribers. More then things that "deserve" it. I'm sure 90% of those authors don't mean for their shitposts to blow up, its just the people. Mindlessly giving ironic praise or awards to these low effort things, then not even batting an eye or understanding about the actual good quality and worked on maps or mods. Not like they have to, of course, free will in all, but its morally right and it wont kill you to give the same praise like you normally do to things that have actually earned it.
i wish you joy with your drawings and i highly appreciate your recognition of the need to socialize
