The Bombardier CRJ series is a family of rear-engine regional jets made in Canada. Despite production ending in 2020, the CRJ series remains popular with regional airlines around the world. The -200 variant is a shortened variant for short-haul routes requiring less seats, and was also the second version marketed.
Sunset Airways acquired 45 CRJ-200s from Endeavor Air, to be used on short Sunset Regional flights within the United States. These aircraft were ordered after a sharp increase in ridership on Regional flights. These aircraft will serve Sunset Airways well into the future.
