Something like a description:

For the sake of high detail and all sorts of tricky things, I used many subgrids. With them, the rover looks "acceptable".
The other side of the coin is that there is constant noise from the wheels. And some subgrids is clungs a little sometimes. And sometimes it stands still, as if it were a monolithic structure.

In short, if it starts shaking:
- it might help to place/remove a block on the shaking part or on the subgrid to which it is attached or on the main grid
- the ultimate solution is simply press save and exit to the main menu and load this save again

Yes, this rover has some of the above problems...
BUT!
It was not intended as a car for fun rides on the server. This is to some extent an exhibition piece. Despite the fact that it is equipped with everything necessary for playing in survival mode
Therefore, the only purpose of this work in the workshop is to look at what you can build in CE, spy on a few ideas, maybe inspire someone to do something, and get a well-deserved dislikes for impractical craft =)




Information about the mods used:

1) At first I wanted to completely avoid using any block mods, but in the end I had to use the Extra windows mod and the Small cockpit chair mod. Alas, there is no way without them.

2) I also used a few visual mods. They are not necessary, but without them the rover will look a little different. So I highly recommend not to skip them:

LCD Sci-fi interfaces

3) Besides that, I couldn't resist the temptation to use these 2 very useful mods:
TouchScreenAPI
Button Pad
(sometimes this mod loses configured buttons from LCD, apparently because the assigned action refers to subgrid)

4) The save also contains several useful mods that really helped me during construction, and several modded planets.




P.S.
- In order not to get lost in the terminal panel, I used hashtags for groups of blocks. Some groups are divided by sections, some by functionality. If someone wants to surf the terminal and see how things work, I recommend using these hashtags. Most of them are described on the LSD panel with the "Info" mark in the title.

- For braking or parking, it is better to use the Spacebar, or the aRBS* timer (on several panels it is assigned to the 1 key).
You can use the P key, but this can break the aRBS* if you turned it on after an odd press of the P key.
*aRBS: when activated, hydrogen thrusters are turned on for better braking. After the rover comes to a complete stop, this thrusters are turned off automatically with a short delay. Therefore, you dont need to activate aRBS again to turn off the thrusters.

- To open the connector hatch and lower the camera - you just need to turn on the connector

- You won't be able to close the outer cargo door if the ramp is down (foolproof), so don't forget to press the big red button!

- Some subgrids, such as shutters, use a "phantom" connection. In other words, they are attached through the air. If you try to make a change to their design, this subgrid will fall apart :D

- Smoke effects from exhaust pipes sometimes disappear. To get them back, you just need to change the type of effect

I don't like using workshop vehicles to force myself to improve my own vehicles, but I have to say, this one is spectacular, 10/10

@John Helldiver If you have not forgotten to enable the supergrid option in the world settings, then there may be many other many other objects with a large number of PCU in total in your world. This can be a problem for crafts like this

This is amazing, but when I tried to copy this as a blueprint and chuck it into my world it broke. Any idea what to do?

Oh I see. its not a save file. its under new game community content. for anyone who had the trouble I did. Though it feels like a total "well duuh" moment now...

@AssHunter (that felt funny typing it out) oh yeah, I'm not that familiar with supergridding so that may be the case. I wonder if that might solve some things clanging in my own subgridded ship. Anyway immaculate job, I don't think I have seen any prettier interior anywhere in SE. Awesome job!

@PimpMyDog No, I didn't change anything in the save file. Maybe you forgot to enable supergrid in the save settings?

Have you done any modifications to the savegame files? Somehow when I make a blueprint of the vehicle and paste it in your save world everything is bueno but as soon as I paste it on whatever other save it spazzes out. Even with all the same mods.
