If the mod doesn't work in-game, type "snd_restart" (without quotes) in console and press enter.

This mod DOESN'T change ANY other sound, ONLY the Bullet Cracks.

It probably does... I highly recommend trying my IMUR soundmod tho. It is a full sound pack containing explosions, more realistic bullet sounds, impacts, footsteps, weapons and much more features. Look for it on my profile.
