Kerberos Gear

This mod adds gear that is inspired by the Kerberos Saga universe, e.g.

- The Red Spectacles (1987)

- StrayDog: Kerberos Panzer Cops (1991)

- Jin-Roh (1999)

It adds several armor parts and new clothing items. Every item has a normal (black) variant, a winter camo variant (perfect for Sakhal or Namalsk) and a green jungle camo variant, perfect for Livonia or jungle maps:

This mod implements two new features:

1. You dont have to wear a full NBC-Suit to survive in toxic zones. You only need to wear the nbc-jacket, nbc-pants and the full Kerberos-Gear. Also the Kerberos Mask Filter provides much bigger quantity.

2. The Night Vision masks can be worn in the eye slot. They only require a 9V Battery. You can turn them on either in hands or while wearing them by pressing / holding the "L"-Key (by default).
When turning them on/off a sound will be played that can be heard a short distance (also by other players, not by zombies). Also the eye-section of the mask will start glowing red, which can be seen by day but also easily by night.
They also feature a custom -red- night vision effect with some grain in it.

Also every item has fully working damaged and ruined stages defined. Every item has five distance LODs.

The backpack allows one mask and one filter to be attached as well as one nbc jacket and one pair of nbc pants.

The pouches can be attached on the belt.

The badge can be attached on the hand armor alongside a knife sheath.


In order to wear the Kerberos gasmask filter the player is required to wear the Kerberos Gas Mask and the Kerberos Backpack.

Once attached the mask and backpack slot are locked until you remove the filter. Also the player head movement is more restricted due to the gasmask tubes.

Q: Am I allowed to repack this mod?

A: Yes. Just leave a like + a link to this as the original.


Q: Can the armor parts be retextured?

A: Yes.


Q: I want to change certain values of the mod, e.g. the armor values - can this be done?

A: Yes, just make a simple override.


Q: Where are the types / type-files?

A: I dont provide one, so you can adjust them however you want. All you need to create them are the class names which are provided above.


Q; Is this a paid mod?

A: No. Its free.

Install this mod like any other mod - copy it into your server folder and add it to your mods list. Make sure to copy the .bikey into your server keys if you're not using a server management tool like OmegaManager which does that automatically.

This mod must be run on both the client and the server.



After a player relogged it might happen on a rare event that the backpack is dropped to the ground.

If that happens just remove the filter + mask once and re-attach everything.
