More Houses

I wasn't sure if V69 saves using this V68 version would be 100% compatible with the new V69 version, so I updated it separately on steam. https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3590576292

OK so I just tested it - it does work for V69.

You subscribe to the mod here, then open the game's launcher and hit "launch" then click on the mods you want to enable. They'll have a # for their mod order (0 is loaded first) if they're activated. This mod will be named "More Houses" and it'll show "More Houses 1.1.1 A (outdated)" since it is still in a V68 folder instead of V69 folder in the mod folder.

Once you play a new or old save, you can click on "House" and it'll show you all 10 options instead of just the 3 basic ones.

New install of v69 and this mod does not work. The github link has files 8 months old and refers to v68. How does one get this to work? What am I missing?

This DOES work fine in V69.

Yeah I've been told this works just fine in V69, but I haven't updated it because I lost my json files, and it's annoying to remake them one by one by hand to allow updating to steam again.

What you can do to fix it is have More Houses have a higher priority (i.e. lower number in launch sequence) to make sure it doesn't get overwritten.

@J did you add the vulemar mod? That's what the other person was doing that got them that error. It has nothing to do with my mod other than the _home.txt in my mod being overwritten by another mod.

I'm not getting that error at all. I just started a new game with V68, and made each house. No issues. The _home.txt in init and text folders have 10 items. If that's not the case for you, I'd recommend telling steam to unsubscribe and resubscribe to make sure it gives you the current version.
