Finally I found the culprit! Apparently if you have Sourcemod installed, you need to use sm_cvar for it to work otherwise it going to be like that. I put it on the server file instead. So you might want to consider that for people that use Sourcemod. Took me long enough to find out why does the game behave like that lamo.

this is just a Convar, so it has to work normally, you may have another mod that uses the same Convar and resets the value of it.

Why is it sometimes not working, and then working and then after some time not working again back and forth. Why is it like that and how to fix? This is very inconsistent while playing.

its just an edited cvar you can adjust the values however you wish, ill make longer version later after im done with what i have in my hands

...or i could just, y'know, "borrow" your code and slightly edit it and then post it (and credit you, of course)

i think 8 seconds is not too long, plus some revive animations, like ellis's, actually cut off with 5 seconds, as they're 8 seconds long, and the l4d1 survivor have too long reviving a black and white teammate lines, so that would make sense, instead of the revived interrupting their speak (rudely)

can you make 3 or 4 seconds version?
