Move It!

Move It! adds a moving box item, which allows players to pick up chests and move them to another spot without having to move all the individual items (or waiting for settlers to move the items one-by-one).

The moving box item is single-use and is crafted at a Demonic Workstation. It can pick up any object that holds items (Chests, Bookshelves, etc). It will copy the name of the object, and all items inside. Holding a packed box (including inside void bags) slows the player down tremendously. Chests that have a packed box inside can not be packed inside a box until the box inside is removed.


All mods should be fully compatible with this mod. When a mod is unloaded, all mod items inside a moving box remain inside. When attempting to place a box that contains items from unloaded mods, the player will be warned about the specific items inside and the box placement will abort. The player can override this behavior and force boxes to delete the mod items.

The same behavior applies to mod chests. If a box is holding a chest from an unloaded mod, it will abort placement. Overriding this behavior will force the chest to spawn as a storagebox. Items in slots past the default 40 will be deleted.
