FRN Segmentum Infantry Mech

The Segmentum Project was created to deal with the problem of enemy mountain bases thearting the Republic of Naron. Helicopter landings at the entrances of these mountain bases proved too deadly after several were shot down approaching the entrance, artillery and bombings didnt work thanks to the many meters of stone that these mountain complexes provided, tanks and vehicles could barely make it up to these bases. The Segmentum was created to counter these bases, an upscaled and heavily armored spear-head for terrain proving too uneven or treacherous for tanks or cars, aka cliffs and mountains. On its Debut the Segmentum mech was praised for its genius mechanical and software engineering, with some civilian models being sold after the weapons were stripped for factory and warehouse work.
