Germany is deployed to Nowheraki!
Join the fray commanding the renowned Fallschirmjaeger under the Rapid Forces Division.

In 2007 EGB Forces were established as a light infantry unit to close the gap between conventional infantry units and the Kommando Spezialkräfte

FAQ:

Why is the mod in German?
Simple flavor.
The whole mod is in English, except for the details that the Features list comments: ranks and class names.
If you can't understand nor German nor the icons, don't worry, the class descriptions also feature an English translation for the names.

Is there any way to change it?
No, the mod is provided as is, with no extra files.
If another user wants to make a translation of the mod, feel free to do so, just list it as a dependency of this mod, and it will be linked automatically.

The voices are awful!
Well, they are done by volunteers who aren't professional voice actors,just people kind enough as to offer their voices for the project. If you think you can do a better job than them, contact me and I'll send you the script for you to try.

Will you make the KSK?
No. There is a mod already in development about them, and my knowledge about the German Armed Forces and the language itself is too limited for a proper in-depth mod.

Will you do more German units?
Read the previous answer.

I see different camouflages in the promotional images than what I have available, is there some wrong with my mod?
Absolutely nothing. All the extra customization you see, such as changing between Flecktarn and Troppentarn is provided by the In-Game Camo Selector mod (or Trooper Toolbox), that allows you access slots hidden by default to the player and select different sets of clothes. Who knows, you might find some surprise?

Why did you chose the Fallschirmjäger?
Because of who they are. They are elite light infantry, meaning they rely mostly on their own feet, contrary to the Panzer Grenadiers, that are Mechanized Infantry, meaning without their vehicles, they would feel incomplete.

The other reason, was simply because I like paratroopers.

You can ignore it without problem, they're unused models, literally a earpiece and quad nods that got discarded almost as soon as I placed the models.

Is there a way for you to make your mod not conflict with IOV: main mod or is that a issue on IOV's end?

Update finally out! Please, be completely sure to check the changelog and the several warnings. The squad max level has been reduced from 16 to 15 so it might glitch, make sure to reset the doctrine tree. I have been able to pass from a max (16) level squad pre-patch to the new one without problems and without doctrine points deficit, but be careful about it.

It takes a while to understand but overall, great mod.

also theres something funny that a fallschirmjaeger watches his Schutzen die in front of him and he's like "mann down." in a monotone voice, haha

@hiqal69. You see a "Subscribe" button under the mod screenshots, right? Just press it and Steam will install the mod automatically.

Once it is installed, just boot the game, go to the Mod Manager (the little icon on the main menu with a little "+" symbol, if you hover it, you will see that it says "Mods").

Now simply select the mod(s) you want to enable, the game will tell you that you need to restart the game, restart the game, and you're done.
