Escort a Marine landing force down to Mexico. Destroy all PLAN vessels and aircraft in your way. Destroy and then Secure the base.

I have spent well over 20 hours designing this mission (likely due to being retarded) with 200 hours in game. You will truly appreciate this mission if you live or have traveled to Socal. I have placed oil-rigs, airliners, merchant ships, airports, airbases, in accurate real life locations. I modeled LAX air-traffic in a fairly realistic manner as well. This is my first workshop mission. Any suggestions appreciated.


Mission Brief:

After the assassination of a congressman by cartel gunman the U.S. begin military operations in Mexico shortly there after. The Mexican government fell within the first week of the war. The result was cartels and factions of the fallen government taking over wide swaths of land, including the whole of Baja.

The Chinese struck a deal with a cartel to set up a permanent naval air station on the coast of Baja in exchange for tactical, strategic, and logistical support. Obviously this situation can not stand and the President has demanded that Monroe Doctrine must be upheld.

Admiral, escort a US Marine landing force to take the Chinese airbase on the Baja coast. Take the damn base! Expect resistance! They have spy's in our major cities and are watching the deployment of our ships, expect them to know you are coming.

Be advised as your fleet sails down the cost between the channel islands it will be exposed more and more. The Chinese assets range from Type 055 Destroyers, over a hundred aircraft, and the possibility of a Submarine in theater. While you have a massive amount of assets stacked against you do not forget that you are not alone. Point Magu Naval Air Station has been placed directly under your command. Use it's wide variety of aircraft to clear the way for your fleet.

Destroy the PLAN ships, aircraft, and airbase. Land your Marines (Get the ships within the red circle) on the base to secure it. Godspeed.
