Rise of the Soviet Republics (discontinued)

This mod implements a ‘Soviet Republic Interaction’ system that, in reality, is an underground national independence movement.
Available to pick is one of the somewhat anachronistic 10 SSRs' movements which strive to achieve sovereignty for their respective country.
To increase chances of survival upon rebellion, one must not only ensure support from their future citizens, but also cooperate with other like-minded internal movements.
Decisions by resistance were supposed to cost Resistance Political/Command Power, but I didn't implement it.

The mod is heavily inspired by post-NSB buildup for the Soviet/Russian Civil War.

There was also an idea to expand the interaction between the movements and the Soviet government.
I cut this for being too ambitious, however.

This is a (not) very small mod I made a few years ago, mainly to study HOI4 modding. It had no ‘development end goal’, only a central idea — so I never finished it.
Some of the things may not work properly or at all.
If you can't see decisions from the mod, wait a few days in-game for them to appear!
