Hunter Hearst Helmsley

Upon his arrival to the WWF, Paul 'Triple H' Levesque began his Sports Entertainment run as the French Nobleman Hunter Hearst Helmsley.

Like a traditional heel, Helmsley's entrances at the time involved snotty, arrogant displays; an entrance theme composed of classical arrangements, and a look better suited for a high society soiree over that of a Wrestling match.

As a curse and blessing in disguise, the blue blood aristocrat found himself in hot water in the mid 90's. In an incident infamously dubbed the 'Curtain Call', Helmsley joined Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramon and Diesel in an off-script embrace after Michael's and Diesel's steel cage match in Madison Square Garden. The resulting fallout not only shocked fans, but ultimately stripped Helmesley of his upcoming 1996 King Of The Ring Victory, instead giving the win to future star Stone Cold Steve Austin.
