The Fokker D.VII was an important german figher biplane of WW1. It saw combat during the later stages of the war an is considered one of the best fighters during it's time. Notably fast due to it's powerful engine and lack of bracing wires inbetween the wings, it was highly regarded by pilots of both sides.
