also, just thought of something else that would be useful:
a mod that adds a piece of furniture for each room that has comfort. It is small, and provides "infinite" (a few trillion?) comfort, so if you are expirmenting with other stuff you can just make a room completly comfortable.
Just an idea!
Now, I have a sugesstion:
would it be possible to make it such that only techs that aren't researched appear? that way, if you have researched, say, nanosensors (be it via this mod or researching normally), it won't appear in the menue where you can click it, thinking you haven't researed it.

Will this allow the reasearch of technologies without the intermediaries? (I’d test, but I’m not able to use my computer atm. If you don’t know (or if I get to my computer before you reply), I’ll tell you the results. But, if you do have time to reply beforehand, would help my planning somewhat :)
