Brutal and swift, The Barbarians of Gaul are powerful, light armored deadly Weapon Masters, devastatingly aggressive in close to mid ranged melee while being just as adept with a bow. Their limited use-age of magical skills is no problem since they have access to their spiritual "Companion of War" and their attunement to nature makes it even possible that they can summon other animals comming to their aid.

This mod is attuned to give u a fresh new character experience and play it the way you like it making a lot of options viable! Wanna make a crazy female bowbarbarian? Or are you more interested in a male druid like build? Heavy 2h. weapons, dual wielding or shielding, it's all possible! Have Fun! All feedback is welcome!

@hardcore players: I tested this mod in TL2ACE and didn't experience unfair death's. (test playing Vet. and Elite mode until act2 artificer) Ace did remove monster crits and I did remove the very small chance of a human enemy mod hero spawning that can kill you instant offscreen. Don't underestimate this other fallen hero's though! Some have very potent and deadly skills! (and nice ember loot!) Be prepared to invest more into armor/life/potions than only stacking Limoany skulls when playing HC!

T2ACE* (testing standard)
*You can play this mod also with other characters but expect no mercy on Vet./Elite difficulty. This custom barb class has a natural 35% all damage reduce. Also some vanilla character passive skills are affected since the base mod of Visigoth are using those and I did make a couple of adjustments. If you like a new challenge with your favorite class, this also might be the mod for you!

Skill Changes
~ Sword en Board: Damage bonus x20 start at 500% till 2000%
~ Blood Hunger passive: starts at 1% bonus at crit, improves 0.1% each level.
~ Heavy lifting +10% speed and double the bonuses per level.
~ Bull-walk now reduce ALL damage% bonus.
~ Adjusted bow skills

Spell Changes
Fireball Spell is now around 2 times stronger (better scaling with frost) (can be useful as extra active skill for the barb too!)
Summon Archers now has 30 second pet cooldown instead of 60.

UI Changes
~ More armor slots
~ Exception: Only the small shoulder/chest armor/pants slot gives bonuses. They are all not visible when weared for thematic reasons.

Overall Changes
~ Charge bonus was insane (1/2 hits full bar). Re-balanced
~ Full charge gives now 50% crit instead of 100%
~ 1% health recovery each second for everyone (Monsters/Bosses/Player/Pets/Minions)
~ more affixes on green and blue items
~ running speed 10.5 > 10.9 (this barb has light armor!)
~ improved iron, ice, fire, lightning, poison embers. (double drop of basic embers on hardcore)
~ improved unique skulls, making the quite useless ones also useful!
~ Rejuv. pots now can be used when full on mana and/or health! No more death by full mana bar. (I have a char with very good mana recovery, but in a critical situation with very low health pool I did needed to wait until my health potions timer was running out, the mana was 100% full so the rejuv. couldn't be used (only if I casted a mana costly skill, but in that kind of situations you don't have that time...) (mana recovery of rejuv's is also doubled.)

Pet Changes
~ Big Blue panther now got extra skills.
~ You can now buy 3 additional pets

Monster/Champion/Bosses Changes:
Health x4 Casual/Normal, x3 Vet., x2 Elite mode (extra added vet x2 elite x2)
difficulty_resistboorst_veteran x4, elite untouched
Armor untouched, on Elite mode x2
All Damage x2 (vet and elite another x2) (character starts with 35% damage reduce, and with the improved armor bonus

Stat bonus Changes:
~ Crit Bonus: 1/2 of vanilla
~ Crit Chance: 1/4 of vanilla
~ Block Chance: Now start at 15% till 2,5% at 500 vit.
~ Dodge: halved and +2% at start.
~ Execute chance 10 till 1,5%
~ Focus / Strength damage bonus halved.
~ Vit. Hp bonus x3#
~ Vit. Armor bonus x10

Vendor Prices:
Gamble x4
Magic x8
Green x12
Normal items: x20 (adjusted dynamite, scrolls & potions*)
Sell: Magic x8, Green x4, Unique x10, Normal x0.2
*only normal health potion is expensive (I messed something up :P, can't find it back in GUTS), level req. of potions removed. %potion effectiveness spells/items might be very useful later on.

Hidden Features!
~ You can also provide the extra pets with spell scrolls, it works a bit cluncky though. (not visible and with removing you need to remove all other overlapping spells from the main pet.) (Spells added to the buyed pets are lost with unsummoning them)

Known gimmicks:
~ Sometimes the stunned indicator can be persistent above the player head after an encounter with a fallen hero. Although it does nothing than giving an false indicator you can get rid of it when restarting the game of by death.
~ Save your pet items if you want to use a respec mod, the summoned pets are also gone with an full respec. (and their items with it!)
~ If you use the unsummon pet spell and unlearn it your other active skill can have a big list of affixes and not working. Just re-hotkey the skill and it works again.
~ Caution! You CAN feed fish to your summoned pets, so 3 extra mimics supporting your war companion tiger on a tough battle is for example possible! (Open the pet menu of the pet of choice, add fish in their inventory and then right click to feed it. Caution! I got in a test run morphed 3 pets (owl, falcon, badger) into Jackal beasts, after the boss battle when the fish morphs did run out the panel of the owl somehow disappeared. The owl itself was still persistent and try adding more pets to the team didn't succeed. (so no crazy 10 pet army :P). I am still surprised that morphing the added pets actually does work.
This "feature" didn't gave me crashes but Summoned Pets inventory slots can be lost!
Everything can be restored/refreshed by choosing complete respec (meditate*) on the NPC.
All summoned pets are also gone than including their items/spells(?**).
(*first removing the previous 1-6 skills) (** I did after the respec/refresh manually unlearn all open pet spells after the reset before buying back new pets and giving them new spells)
If you reach act 3 you probably have some good cash and quite a lot of better spells. This can be a nice milestone refreshing your pet army/skills.

*Removed the (very slim) chance of an unique Human Enemy encounter. This ones can One-Shot u from an crazy far distance. (Died from one of those in a HC run) The normal ones can still be pretty dangerous in higher difficulties!
**Does actually work! I did expected some possible gimmicks with the ring slots (so added this just a couple of days ago) but until now, no problemo! :D

@ Torchlight2 Plus : That's a great aspect regarding key-word searches. Ace makes changes to the vanilla classes hence the names also pick up on any words related to the vanilla classes. Glad to see your work continue! :steamthumbsup:

@steffire3 Most welcome bro, it was fun to make and a nice way to test certain gameplay changes out. Since ACE is a big gamechanger mod and is actively updated I do include testing most of my mods with it.

Fun thing: When u search for ACE in the workshop, my 2 most recent uploads also pop up in the results.
