This simple Mod implements the Indian Navy's nuclear-powered attack submarine INS Chakra.

INS Chakra (ex K-43) was a Charlie-class nuclear-powered submarine leased to India by the Soviet Union. She was operational in the Indian Navy from February 1988 to December 1990. INS Chakra was partially manned and controlled by a Soviet crew who reportedly did not allow Indian crewmembers into the missile room and into the reactor compartment. These restrictions are believed to be one of the reasons for the termination of the lease after only 3 years by India.

Design notes:To simulate the operational restrictions imposed by the Soviets, the SS-N-16 missiles have been removed and she carries only 12 torpedoes. The crew has been removed from the conning tower when surfaced, because... Indian sailors don't wear ushanka-hats (chapkas).

Important (about mods and mods use):
This mod has been tested and is running perfectly on my computer (i7-11800H @ 2.30 Ghz - 16 GB RAM - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050) with no other mod enabled. However, since they are as many computer configurations than computer users, it's unfortunately impossible to guarantee it will work on yours.
Be aware that by installing mods for Sea Power, you are modifying your game experience from the original intended product which is (at release date of this mod) still in EARLY ACCESS. Therefore, later game updates/patches may cause this mod to be deprecated. Although it is very unlikely, the presence of other enabled mods might cause conflicts, and the more enable mods on your computer, the greater the chance of conflict. So, to sum it up, USE MODS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
If you wish to clean uninstal this mod make sure to follow these steps: 1) Uncheck this mod in the mod manager. 2) Click on Accept. 3) Unsubscribe. Then make sure the mod's file is no longer in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1286220 folder.
