Better Wings

Boy do I have the thing for you. This mod makes every vanilla pair of wings twice as large!

2x the length, 4x the surface area.

Also customizable per wing! Choose between the following sizes (in the config):
- 1x (Vanilla Size)
- 1.5x (Pretty Good)
- 2x (Intended)
- 2.5x
- 3x (Not recommended)



((Disclaimers: For the time being, this only upscales the original artwork. Sorry about the "Mixels.” This also does not change the stats of any wings, nor will it ever))

Currently planned additions - to be released eventually maybe. kinda lost interest in making this tbh:

- Version 1.5: De-Mixeling all wings-> More detailed wings, to maintain the pixel density of the original artwork - as opposed to artificially inflating them. Essentially redrawing all wings, as close to the original art as possible, just in various sizes. Will take a number of weeks, ya boy has a job. May switch to a redraw method at the same time, this would eliminate the need for Reloads when changing the wing sizes

- Version 2.0: Better Flight animations with more frames / moderate re-spriting (coming a long time from now)

- ???: Support for Calamity wings and TModLoader wings (Higher Priority than 2.0, maybe higher than 1.5)

**Note: The mod IS already compatible with Calamity, it just doesn't modify Calamity wings yet

Config Information:

Due to the nature of direct texture replacement (how the wings get bigger), changing config options requires a mod reload - this is a game-engine limitation

So when changing your config files you must:
Begin in the Main menu, then go to Workshop > Manage Mods > Better Wings Edit Config (Gear Icon)

From there select your changes, press "Save Config," and then click back. The mod will be reloaded, with your changes applied.

Upset about my lack of updates??
Feel free to contribute art for the 1.5 update. The priority is exclusively on 2x wings because to de-mixel the wings with larger scales, they all need to be hand drawn at the correct pixel density!

Heres some key information: Lets say a base Terraria wing image file is [86 x 248] (very common), each pixel of the wings drawing is in fact 2x2 real pixels. For my mod, theyre linearly scaled up (1.5x = 3x3, 2x=4x4, 2.5x=5x5, 3x=6x6).

So to make new wing of the correct pixel density, youd have to use a scaled up wing file to start, then redraw the entire thing with 2x2 pixels instead of 4x4, while more or less adhering to the rough layout and boundaries of the original. Which is pretty hard to do with the pixel art skills I have lmao
