描述
Second in a series of maps of the US States (and Territories) of each Presidential Election Year.
States are grouped into alliances based off of the candidate who received the most Electoral Votes for President in that State.

Presidential Election of 1792
George Washington was unanimously re-elected in 1792, however the position of Vice President was still contested. Therefore, the pre-made alliances for 1792 are based off of who received the most electoral votes from each State after George Washington (who received a vote from every Elector). Prior to the passage of the 12th amendment in 1804, Presidential Electors did not cast a separate vote for President & Vice President, but simply cast two votes for President, with the runner-up being elected Vice President.

By 1792, two political parties were gradually emerging, the Federalists, primarily from those who more ardently supported the Washington administration, and the Republicans (not the modern GOP, often referred to as "Democratic-Republicans") coalescing out of the Anti-Federalists behind Thomas Jefferson & those who somewhat opposed the Washington administration.

That said, both parties still threw their support behind Washington for the 1792 Election, but nominated contesting Vice Presidential Candidates. The Federalists supported incumbent Vice President John Adams, and the Republicans informally nominated New York Governor George Clinton for Vice President.
Kentucky's electors all voted for Republican Secretary of State Thomas Jefferson with their second votes, instead of either of the main candidates. Additionally, one elector from South Carolina cast his second vote for Republican U.S. Senator from New York, Aaron Burr, instead of Adams like the rest of the electors from SC.

Changes Since 1788
The Southwest Territory was created from the western portions of North Carolina.
The de facto independent Vermont Republic was admitted as the 14th State of Vermont.
Maryland & Virginia ceded a diamond parcel of land for the creation of the Federal District of Columbia.
Pennsylvania purchased and annexed the Erie Triangle Unorganized Territory from the Federal Government.
Kentucky was admitted to the union as the 15th State from the westernmost part of Virginia.

Starting Alliances
John Adams, Federalists - DE, PA, NJ, CT, MA, MD, SC, NH, RI, VT
George Clinton, Republicans - GA, VA, NY, NC

The following state is not included in either alliance because they alone voted for a different candidate:
Thomas Jefferson, Republican - KY

Additionally, there are three territories, which likewise are not part of any alliance:
Northwest Territory
Southwest Territory
District of Columbia

I personally recommend disabling New Nation revolts in Godmode.
If you want to play with the presidential election result as a primary factor, I would recommend disabling alliance changing in Godmode as well.

City Apportionment
The number of cities that each state has is based off of how many seats in the House of Representative were apportioned to the States following the Census of 1790.
Numbers in parantheticals indicate how many cities were gained or lost compared to the previous Election Map.

DE: 1 City
PA: 13 Cities (+5)
NJ: 5 Cities (+1)
GA: 2 Cities (-1)
CT: 7 Cities (+2)
MA: 14 Cities (+6)
MD: 8 Cities (+2)
SC: 6 Cities (+1)
NH: 4 Cities (+1)
VA: 19 Cities (+9)
NY: 10 Cities (+4)
NC: 10 Cities (+5)
RI: 2 Cities (+1)
VT: 2 Cities (New)
KY: 2 Cities (New)

Non-State Territories get one city each for their capital. This is intentional and by design, since the territories tended to be lower population over very large areas. This makes those regions easy to capitulate, which was the desired effect.

Regarding the names of cities, the capitals of the states are based off of what the actual capitals of those states were in 1792. Since 1788, North Carolina had moved its capital from New Bern to Fayetteville.
For the remaining cities in each state, I chose a significant town or city from each Congressional District in that state from each States' Congressional Districts for the 1792 elections (to the 3rd US Congress).

Other Starting Values
Starting Gold value & Combat Strength of each State & Territory is based off of the level of organization and representation of the State, Territory, District, etc. with the following values:
States - 100 Gold & 5 Combat Efficiency
States not in the Union - 50 Gold & 5 Combat Efficiency
Represented Organized Territories - 50 Gold & 4 Combat Efficiency
Unrepresented Organized Territories - 50 Gold & 3 Combat Efficiency
Represented Organized District - 25 Gold & 3 Combat Efficiency
Unrepresented Organized District - 25 Gold & 2 Combat Efficiency
Other Permanently Populated Territories - 25 Gold & 1 Combat Efficiency
Unorganized Territories - 0 Gold & 1 Combat Efficiency

The shape and terrain for this map is based off of the province map from "The New Order: Last Days of Europe" mod for Hearts of Iron IV. Likewise the shapes of the states are mostly drawn from that, with some modifications that I made to make them more accurate in some areas, and to reflect period-specific borders.
