Boston Tipton Hotel (The Suite Life of Zack & Cody)

The Suite Life of Zack & Cody was a spectacular Disney show. Mayhaps my favorite. And the original series' setting, the Tipton Hotel located in Boston, Massachusetts, is iconic through that. A five-star hotel that's been in the branches for a hundred years or so! So why don't we stay for a few days…?


TSLOZAC is just such a nostalgic show and an integral part of my childhood. So I decided to recreate the Boston Tipton! A very vintage-looking stone-and-wood construction. And so big that I had to make the exterior of the building separately. More on that later.

Also, I'm trying a different release format for this map--I will be updating it as rooms are finished. This first version only includes the lobby and some side areas, and future updates will add more areas from the original show. See the lists below for more details.

Map features included:
[UPDATE 0: Grand Opening]
- This is a modular map, meaning that most rooms will not have euclidian connections to each other--teleport zones will be used instead.
- Includes the Lobby, the Manager's Office, and a Changing Room based on the Nintendo DS game "Tipton Trouble" (I will not be needing any money back from Cole, though)
- The elevators open, but presently will not take you anywhere
- The bell on the check-in desk rings! Modeled after a call bell I have IRL as a keepsake
- The chandeliers can swing! Is this an advertisable feature?! I don't know!
- The entrance door carousel has physics! You can push it!
- There is a limited exterior outside the front doors in the main map, based on how it appears in the show
- There is a changing room on the fourth wall of the lobby, based on the DS title "Tipton Trouble"; it features a toggleable mirror and curtained walls with color options! Just turn the valves
- The doors to the changing room may refuse to close--attack the handles with a weapon to force them shut
- A secret room is present; its method of access is strangely familiar…
- A separate exterior version is available for exterior shots, based on the Tipton's "IRL location" in Boston (This version has a secret room too)

I know there are some of y'all out there still waiting on me to complete things for you. Don't worry, I haven't forgot about you either, I keep a list that reminds me of the impending ticking clock constantly hovering over my shoulder from that. I've been working on your stuff as well alongside this.

But this map was something I could get in a finished state for y'all in the meantime, something good to bite your teeth into while I work on your other things behind the scenes. I would've liked to have gotten this one out before 2024 ended, just to be cool, but 'twas not to be, I suppose. Still, January 2025 isn't that bad in comparison as a timeframe.
