OK. That mod activates a setting called “Overlap Mesh” to certain armor pieces.
As the name implies, it determines which mesh data should be used, effectively overriding it.
So when you equip the Duster Coat, some mesh get replaced by the one defined in Fixing Clipping Issues.
In the vanilla game, the Duster Coat’s Overlap setting is left blank.
My mod doesn’t touch the Duster Coat either, so that setting remains blank by default.
However, Fixing Clipping Issues enables the Overlap setting.
As a result, regardless of where my mod is placed in the load order, the Overlap setting from Fixing Clipping Issues will always take priority.
I’m guessing you might be using “Fixing Clipping Issues,” right? In any case, it seems to be on their end.
Just to clarify, I don’t currently plan to create a patch myself.
It is also available for non-JRPG characters.
