"Here's that cheese I was looking for... Tasty!'

This is my recreation of Odell from the Half-Life 2 Beta! This addon replaces Odessa Cubbage's model with Odell.

Credits:

Valve - Textures, character
El XD - Cap texture recreation

I don't know if they were aiming for "Cartoony", What I'd say here is that while things are clearly illustrated, they're still aiming for a worn, realistic look. But the lack of real photos used directly makes it still have a more obvious divorce from reality. Thank god it's not in the uncanny valley.

Quiver was bright & shiny before it started turning into Half-Life 1. the HL2 Beta was dark & gritty from the start, as even at the Pre-Pitch era, Gordon would have been sent to various planets and none of them were happy places from the looks of it.
