Vlad, the suave brawler, has returned to break faces and hearts in rivals of aether! Vlad has received a major visual overhaul along with some all new mechanics and attacks. Vlad remains a devastating powerhouse with tricky movement and free form combos.

VLAD SPECIALS:

Nspecial: Sanguine Step
--------------------------------------------------------

Vlad sways backwards then forwards. Vlad can perform a number of follow ups off of this move depending on the button pressed.

Attack pressed: "Bat Buster", an exceptionally strong lunging punch that sends opponents flying. Can only be performed during the backwards sway.

Special pressed: "Crimson Cleaver", a 2 hit flip kick that sends opponents into the air. Vlad can use this attack to start combos or hit opponents in the air. Can be performed during the backward or forward sway.

Any "strong" pressed: "Gruesome Guillotine", a vicious overhead punch that spikes opponents downwards. This attack also puts the opponent into an untechable state. Can be performed during the backward or forward sway.


Fspecial: Night Rush

Vlad performs a forward lunging punch.

Dspecial: Midnight Feast
--------------------------------------------------------

Vlad grabs forward and takes a bite out of the opponent. Grants a large amount of blood and heals Vlad for 5% on hit.

Uspecial: Shadow Spiral
--------------------------------------------------------

Vlad flies in the direction of the joystick. Can be aimed in any direction.


THE BLOOD METER
--------------------------------------------------------


The blood meter is Vlad's unique resource. It increases whenever he deals damage to an opponent, but increases even more when landing his Dspecial; Midnight Feast. With the blood meter, Vlad can perform Blood Cancels and his super move; Eternal Rest

Blood Cancels
--------------------------------------------------------

While his Blood meter is at half or higher, Vlad can perform a blood cancel. Pressing the "SHIELD" button during any attack's start-up, recovery, or active frames will cause Vlad to immediately cancel the attack and freeze any nearby opponents in place, allowing him to perform any follow up he wants.

Super move: Eternal Rest
--------------------------------------------------------

While his Blood meter is at half or higher, Vlad can perform Eternal Rest. Pressing the "ATTACK" button and the "SPECIAL" button at the same time performs the attack.

Cancellable normals

Vlad can cancel several of his attacks into specials.
