Thanks a lot!
I'd like to create unique pieces, but unfortunately, most of the battles from the 1939-45 period are shown. What I'd like to do is currently impossible due to blank spaces on the map.
My biggest dream is to create the Spanish campaign of 1936-39 from both perspectives, but the map is missing. Unfortunately, this is essentially the only thing I can't do on my own. This functionality is reserved exclusively for owners of the source code.
I have another incredibly ambitious project, but that would require several years of uninterrupted work for one person...
I think I'll publish a mini-campaign (3-4 maps) by the end of the year or in January.
Creating new units is possible, but only using existing "base" models. You can only create units that have their own, unmodified model. For example, I couldn't create "new" Ethiopian infantry, but only "overwrite" the existing unit of the French colonial infantry, because the "base" model for them is the US Infantry 42 (if I remember correctly). This means that the French colonial infantry is only a modification of the base model; it doesn't have its own model. It's easier with tanks...
You can learn a lot from the UoC 2 Dicord forum.
Also do you know where I can learn more ebout making custom campaigns?
It is possible
Really glad to hear that !!!
Thanks for playing
