The Boeing 737 is the second most popular airliner ever made, selling over 11,000 of units since 1966. The Classic series, consisting of the -300, -400, and -500 variants improve on the original design, adding more efficient engines and increasing capacity.
Sunset Airways acquired 25 Boeing 737-300s from Southwest Airlines, using them on short-haul domestic routes. They have since been retired, being replaced by 737 NG variants. One was written off as flight SU3212.
