描述
Description:
This addon contains a new multirole star wars ship designed to be used by Jedi pilots.


Lore (made up):
The JX-18 "Phantom" is a small experimental multirole starfighter developed by Kuat Systems Engineering for the Jedi Order's top pilots before and during the Clone Wars. It was designed to be more versatile and combat proficient than both the Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor and the ETA-2 Actis-class interceptor. Production of the JX-18 was not a priority for the Grand Army as public opinion of the Jedi Order as "peacekeepers" deteriorated as the war progressed and as such, this fully offense/combat-focused spacecraft saw less and less action during the war.

    • Single seat.
    • High speed and maneuverability.
    • Loadout for air-to-air, space, and air-to-ground combat.

  • Stats
    • 1.5 turn rate for all types.
    • Maximum cruising speed of 320 km/h (366 km/h when boosting).
    • 600 health.
    • 200 shield.

  • Loadout
    • High velocity laser cannons for engaging aircraft, spacecraft, and some ground infantry.
    • Armor penetrating, high explosive laser canons for engaging armored ground vehicles.
    • Sublight thrusters.

Future Updates/WIP:
I am still pretty new to modding in general so expect the following:
  • Texture improvements (the ship currently uses flat images/colors but I personally don't think it's that bad aesthetically which is why it released in this state).
  • General loadout balancing and code improvements.

@Hank Working on updates in my free time. Textures for sure will be updated later down the line to be more than just flat images. Size is pretty much a non-issue imo since it's just a single seater and it's also just a jedi ship. Landing gear will likely not be added since the model doesn't have it rn and I don't feel like spending time to add it.

Hello friend,

Love the concept, but the model and texture leave much to be desired. I feel like its way too small and skinny and doesn't look like anything would fit in it. Also, any plans to add landing gear? Like the the Delta-7s? Hope you make a texture that looks like the image, thank you :)
