In B41, I was always puzzled how a zombie could break a wall made of thick logs with its bare hands. Now in B42 they'll attack more walls and window frames built by a player. Even though DOOR FRAMES have “isThumpable = false” parameter, and they won't attack a brick wall built initially.
I guess it'll be rebalanced through polishing of Build 42.
Until, here's the patch adds “isThumpable = false” parameter to following files:
[entity_]brick_walllvl1[.txt], brick_walllvl2, brick_windowframelvl1, brick_windowframelvl2, stone_wall, stone_windowframe, metal_walllvl1, metal_walllvl2, metal_windowframelvl1, metal_windowframelvl2, metal_bigmetalfence, logwall, log_windowframelvl1, wood_walllvl2, wood_walllvl3, wood_windowframelvl2, wood_windowframelvl3, woodenpole
Now the zombies, realizing their efforts hopelessness, will ignore strong walls.

In existing save it will work with walls you build AFTER activating the mod. In a new save, it should just work.

Since I'm pretty bad at Lua, the mod replaces the files, doesn't edit them. For this reason, it can be incompatible with some other building mods. I can add you as a mod's author if you want to make constructive reasonable changes to the code and will do so in good faith.

This mod is also included in Sneg's Mod Pack

Modpacking allowed without confirmation. No reuploading.

Second this. With Mod enabled, the menu doesn't reload in 42.12, while in debug mode. Have to Alt+F4 to get out.

After 42.12 updated - Mod make game can't launch in debug mode. If activate mod after debug mode launched, game bug and show non text menu + appear 20 errors

No, I made this mod specifically to protect only the walls that were already listed. However, you can create your own remake that expands this list—either as a private or public release. It's fairly simple to do.

I think it would be cool if zeds took location damage to their hands, each time they punch a hard wall their hands take damage, eventually their hands break and they cant thump no more. But this mod is a better, cleaner solution :D

If you're "pretty bad at Lua," you could try asking AI Chat. Just learn all the basics of Lua. If you run into errors codes, give the info to AI Chat and it will give you helpful tips and reasons for the error.
