Pretty Stuff - Item Model Replacement

Pretty Stuff is a mod that overhauls item models, replacing them with my custom-made models (and a few based on photo scans— check credits) designed to better align with the style of the in-game icons.


While this is not a performance-focused mod—it adds 8 to 16 2k textures, depending on the final version—I’ve tried optimising the models geometry to minimise any potential performance impact. While some models have a slightly higher poly count, many have been reduced - a few drastically; the worst offender is now just 5% of its original poly count!
When the mod is complete, I also plan to release a low-resolution version for those who need the extra performance and maybe already use mods like the Compressed Textures Project.


Currently in beta, the mod covers just under half of all items, with a focus on the more common ones. After sitting on this project for a while, I decided it was better to release what I’ve completed so far rather than wait for the motivation to finish everything.


Going forward, I plan to update the mod every time I finish 10 new items to avoid spamming updates while also giving myself a clear goal to work toward.


I hope you enjoy the updated aesthetic, and I’d greatly appreciate any honest feedback to help improve the mod as I (hopefully) continue working toward its completion!

Compatibility and Load Order:
The mod is only graphical, and can be added or removed at any time.
The place in the load order is unimportant, and only matters if you have other mods that alter the appearance of items. (Mods that change vanilla textures not included.)
