MFS SC-11 Fennec Corvette

Designed for the purpose of supporting larger capital ships in fighter screening and solo anti-piracy operations, the SC-11 Fennec boasts a modest armament of Gatling guns, missile launchers, assault turrets, and a sizable point defense turret grid. High TWR and a jump drive allow the Fennec to chase down targets and conduct interplanetary operations in minutes. The living quarters are fairly minimal, as the Fennec is not designed for long term operations, instead being best suited to short fast response missions.

Armor is fairly light as to allow a high TWR, although the Fennec is designed with evasion in mind, rather than tanking rounds directly. As with most MFS ships, the Fennec possesses a self projection system intended to aid in repairs. Able to patrol both space and the surfaces of smaller bodies, the Fennec is a versatile light combat platform for a (fairly) low cost.
