The Story Behind This Map

v1.0a (2013): Created purely for fun in TrackMania 2 Canyon by BCRTVKCS when I was just 14. It was the golden age of gaming for me and my nephews—a time filled with creativity, laughter, and memories that grow rarer as the years go by ❤️

n/A (2015): The original map was accidentally deleted. 😔 Since I hadn’t uploaded it online, it was lost forever. Back then, I was too inexperienced to understand the importance of sharing or preserving my work.

v1.0 (2017): Determined to bring it back, I remade the map. What seemed like a simple design turned out to be quite challenging with my limited experience—just 100 hours of gameplay, mostly in split-screen or LAN party modes.

v1.0.1 (2018): Minor updates were made, like adding more signs and tweaking small details. However, I eventually stopped playing TM2 Canyon after developers removed the split-screen feature—a decision that baffled me. I moved on to TM Turbo for a bit but soon drifted away from Trackmania altogether.

v1.1 (December 2024): A few days ago, I stumbled upon a YouTube channel called WirtualTV. Watching his videos reignited my passion for Trackmania. I realized that the 2020 release was thriving with both old and new players. Frustrated with myself for discovering this so late, I dove back into the game with renewed excitement. After years of procrastination, I finally decided to publish my first-ever map. I fixed its flaws and polished it for all of you.

SAÇMALIKTIR is The Most Stupid Basic Map from my childhood reborn! Play it, rage on it, and love it.
