Always on Voice Chat

Enhance your Garry's Mod experience with the Always Voice Chat addon! This client-side script allows you to toggle your voice chat to be always on using a simple console command. Say goodbye to constantly holding down the speak button and enjoy seamless communication with your teammates.

Key Features:
- Toggle Voice Chat: Easily turn your voice chat on or off with a single command.
- Client-Side Only: Ensures your privacy by keeping all voice chat settings on your end.
- User-Friendly: Simple setup and intuitive commands make it accessible for all players.

Please note: To activate the always-on voice chat, you must accept the permission request prompted by GMod. This is a necessary step to prevent server abuse and ensure your microphone is used responsibly.

Console Commands For Addon:
  • always_voice_chat: Toggles the always-on voice chat. Use this command to enable or disable your voice chat being continuously active. this stays on even after server change, or restarts, saved in the data folder

nvm it worked, if i join and the thing is on gotta turn it off and turn it back on

no you should not have to do that, but a few people cant use this addon as their game is bugged i have the bug too so it dont work for me

yes you can just use normal binding console command
bind "key" "always_voice_chat"

oooooh i didnt know that. actually thanks for the addon, the +voicerecord command is really worser than i thought.

and it dont just simply do "+voicerecord" it uses a hook the game has to ask for permission per server before it can be used
