Out of the Blue

A throwback to the old days. Remember that achievement?
While not exactly the hardest by any means, I wanted to try some simple momentum puzzles involving a single portal gun. Especially since it's not a commonly used test element of having the other portal be on a rotating stand like in the first game. I have noticed some interactions with it both in the PTi and Hammer. The portal gun on the stand still follows standard rules, which isn't surprising and is expected but the portals the gun on the stand shoot are affected by Bumping and Placement fails. I wonder if the other puzzle makers out there will make use of that?

This was also going to be a much larger chamber, but that portal gun pedestal was being a problem. So I had to trim it down. Let's just say, having 2 blue portals and an Orange portal gun that shot blue portals only, forced my hand to cut back.
