Loot Corpses and Props for Ammo/ HealthVial/ Battery

  • Corpse Looting:
    Get close to the corpse
    [Crouch] for the looting HUD to show up
    Use [Mouse Wheel] to scroll up/down
    Press [Loot Key] (F by default) to loot
    (There's a small chance you can loot some ammo, there's a big chance you get nothing. Believe me it's balanced)

    This addon simulates the looting process by turning on/off model's BodyGroups
    So, if the model of the corpse has enough BodyGroups, it will look just like Fallout4, where you can strip the clothing of the dead body one by one

    Also, if some bodygroups of the model is broken (It's very common), thus looting it will break the model, then you can disable that BodyGroup, just:
    Scroll to that BodyGroup, then Press [Walk]


  • Prop Looting:
    Get close to a container (a Cabinet, a Locker, etc), and the HUD will show up

    Most common seen containers in the game has already been listed as a lootable prop,
    But if I missed some props,
    You can also make a prop "lootable" by yourself !

    How to make a prop "lootable"
    Aim at that prop, then Type something like:
    loots_add Container
    (You can change the word "Container" to anything you like, it's the name for the prop, it's the name show on the HUD when you loot this prop.
    If you want to remove a prop from lootable list, just aim at it and type:
    loots_remove

  • Q:
    I can't use my mouse wheel to scroll the looting hud!
    A:
    You must bind some command to your mouse wheel, like "previous weapon" and "next weapon" in game settings. I know it's wired but well, gmod is also wired.
    为了让鼠标滚轮能滚动搜刮菜单，
    你必须确保鼠标滚轮本身是有命令绑定的，可以是游戏本体的命令，也可以是别的模组里的命令。比如游戏本体默认就绑定了 “滚轮向上” 为 ”“选择上一个武器”，绑定了 “滚轮向下” 为 ”“选择下一个武器”。而如果你清除了鼠标滚轮的这些绑定，在该模组中鼠标滚轮就会无法起效
    所以，简而言之，如果你的鼠标滚轮不起作用，最简单的方式就是在游戏设置菜单里，把鼠标滚轮设置为上下切换武器



  • Q:
    The Ragdoll is not showing anything in the HUD! Or even, the HUD doesn't show up!
    A:
    Type "loots_reload" in the console to refresh the looting system, and if the problem still exists, then it means this Ragdoll's model doesn't come with any bodygroups. It's this model's problem, there's nothing we can do
    如果搜刮HUD里没有显示任何选项，只有一个光秃秃的HUD，或者干脆直接就没有HUD，
    则你可以在控制台输入 “loots_reload” 来刷新一下该模组试试




    较为R向
    总之就是能像辐射4一样，搜刮尸体和容器
    搜刮s体靠开关其各个身体组件来实现，如果s体的模型是一个正儿八经的模型的话，那么搜刮起来的效果也就和辐射4一件一件扒衣服一样大差不差了
    （搜刮s体时是有小概率能搜出弹药，大概率啥都搜不到，相信我，很平衡的）

    搜刮s体：
    靠近s体，先 [蹲下] ，这样搜刮的HUD就会显示出来，接着用 [鼠标滚轮] 滚动HUD，用 [搜刮键] (默认为F键) 来搜刮
    搜刮容器：
    靠近容器，HUD出现，然后和上边一样

    你还可以自定义哪些容器是可以搜刮的，详情请见游戏里的设置菜单，里面有中英详细解释

    菜单在 Utilities/Looting System 一栏里
