Shieldbearer is a defensive bastion; wielding a large tower shield, a variety of punishing grabs, and an unique Block Charge mechanic that means she's never truly in disadvantage. She can hold down the fort and punish aggressive approaches and lock down the opponent's options with raw intimidation alone.

However, she doesn't come alone. Shieldbearer is accompanied by her darling, Scavenger, who is an entirely unique fighter controlled almost exclusively by an autonomous AI. She plays the match dynamically, reacting in real time to what's happening around her with the player's guidance on general playstyle and the ability to spend super to command Scavenger directly. With Scavenger by her side, Shieldbearer unlocks the ultimate double trouble power of a true duo character.
