Platonic Relationships

I just feel some pawns work better as friends. Sometimes I'm holding out for someone with the right skillset for optimal cohabitation. Or maybe we're working on a specific gene breeding project, who knows? Either way, we all have our reasons to want to exclude certain pawns from romancing each other. With this mod, you can do that.



This mod adds platonic relationships to the game. That means that, between pawns with any of these relationships active, the romantic interest is zero. It's fairly similar to my other mod, Adoptive Relationships, just with different relationship names.



These relationships do not happen naturally, you will have to add them manually at the beginning of the game using Prepare Carefully or mid-game using Character Editor.

No. I don't have the bandwidth for more complicated code mods at this time. Maybe later.

💀 I can only see male/female relationships. What's up with that?

If you're using Character Editor, there is a ♂ or ♀ icon where you select the relationships you want to add.
It only shows you the relationships of that gender. Click the icon to switch.
