By downloading this addon, you have volunteered to install Aperture Science’s latest and safest achievement in artificial intelligence: GLaDOS, now available as a Garry’s Mod spawnable entity. Please note: Aperture Science is not responsible for any psychological damage, existential crises, or impromptu neurotoxin deployments caused by interacting with this AI.

FEATURES:

Interactive Personality: Do you lack carefully crafted insults while you make boats fly with balloons? GLaDOS can offer a range of comments to add to your activities! Ranging from mean to...well...pretty much just mean.

Dynamic Hydraulic Operated Movement: This personality construct has been fitted with multiple hydraulic and servo motors to allow a wide range of movement, offering more meaningful interactions with each line!

Subject Tracking: The Genetic Life and Disk Operating System has been equipped with advanced motion tracking algorithms to enable tracking on the closest subject in range.

LED Lit Eye: Capable of seeing you whether or not you're in the dark, this android possesses a flashlight in her optic cavity that she *CANNOT USE OR SHE WILL DIE*!!

Environment Interface: An ability to interact with her surroundings, expect a door to open and close here or there. We ask her why she does this and the only response we've been getting is "For Science."

Personality Sphere Recognition: GLaDOS will recognize and respond to other Aperture Science Personality Spheres in her vicinity. (NOTE: Reaction to Personality Sphere labeled "Morality" has been noted to be particularly hostile.)

Official Update Log: 03/09/2025

Big Update this time guys! Wanted to make sure I had, at least, polished out the differences this time! So,

-You'll notice a ton of new options in the Options Tab, where you have the option to disable all the following updates.

-GLaDOS will now disable Combine Technology when detected

-GLaDOS now reacts to Portal 1 cores if spawned near her, with custom voice lines! Sorry they are generated with AI, if my voice acting skills were better and more feminine, I'd them myself!

-GLaDOS will randomly interact with her environment, opening, closing, locking, and unlocking random doors and other moving platforms in your map!

-GLaDOS now has subtitles! You'll need the required addon for them to work though

-Don't want GLaDOS to say anything anymore? Well feel free to disable her movement in options!

-No more separate tab! After much feedback from you subscribers and my co-developer, the tab was made to make this addon unique, but to quote Nuke: "If you're going to try to make it unique, make it useful."

-And finally, a Developer Tab! Want to add your own voice lines or extensions for voice lines? Or maybe you just want to choose what she says and when she says it? Well, head on into the developer console, and use the command "glados_direct_interface", and you'll have a selection menu with associated animations, which you can add or adjust to in the file "ent_glados" for you developers out there!
