Tired of your useless Yak 38s? No longer with this mod. Now civilian airliners will tremble at your new AA-12s (R-77) and Oil tankers with the new AS-17 (KH-31AP). No longer will your Yak 38 fly for 10 meters off the deck and then crash after running out of fuel! This flying pig is a worthy adversary for any new threat upgrade nato can throw at it!

Based on a copium proposed 1990s upgrade for Yak 38M

Loading this mod, after the lattest update, makes the KIEV only able to launch or prep one plane at a time. Any chance to solve it? Thanks

Let´s start by saying: Great Mod!
There are some issues since the last update:

1.- They drop their tanks just after take off. You can ear the tanks hiting the water when following the carrier.
2. The antiship missiles, the AS-17 Hrypton only works lower than 20.000ft. Above that height it goes over the target.

Previously these issues were not present.

Any chance to fix it?

Why can't my Yak38 launch the R77 missile

Yak-38Ms could never carry the R-77 or Kh-31 it doesnt have any radars installed, the Yak-38M was refitted with R-60Ms and S-24 Rockets, in Sea Power it is already the R-60M but designated as R-60 in form of AA-8.

I did an update removing those, but It seems as though workshop is still not receiving file updates properly.

@Sounding Expert the ammunition_names.ini file has entries for most of the other vanilla weapons in-game. You only need to include the R-77 and Kh-31AP's entries in that file, This will help to avoid conflicts with other mods adding/changing weapons.

Thats kinda the point when you add R-77/AS-12 because then the horrible airframe doesn't really matter. The current Mig 23A is also hot garbage and is getting its own mod soon. Since many people on the workshop use the NTU mod all this really does is add a more competent adversary for scenarios.
