Description

A personal mod that takes the localization strings and translate them to English using ChatGPT 4o.

This mod does the following:

  • Feeds the original Chinese strings into ChatGPT and then I did manual corrections and adjustments afterwards to fit the theme of the game and existing in-game terms.
    • Warning: There is truly an obscene amount of strings (4000+). It is not possible for me to spot-check them all. I did spot-checked the skills, unit names and unit descriptions. For skills and/or traits, I may have missed some references to unit names that do not exist and/or are not named properly in regards to the existing units added by this mod.
    • Some red line skill texts were changed to try to cut down on the amount of text. It is highly recommended to use the UI Slider mod for better readability.
  • Corrects location names from "Shangyang" to "Shang-Yang". Similarly, "Nangau" to "Nan-Gau".

Due to the sheer amount of strings from this mod, feel free to leave a comment with the corrected string and I will correct it.

No need for an update unless more units are added to the mod.

Is there a way to translate the technology tree for the skaven. The second section seems to just be blank text. Am I missing something?

@Dante , i can’t get the « frostborne riders» in the Kislev campaign, they don’t appear in the renowned units, do you have a solution ? Thanks 😁

@daredevil83 Its not the translation mod, its GHS itself. There is an incompatibility with it and the Warband mod.

@not sure This will only be a translation mod. I have no clue about the skill issue for High Elves either.

not sure if it is fixable via this mod but it seems the main mod has a issue with the skills of any high elf faction.
